Celebrating the Cambodian New Year!

 Cambodian New Year Celebration

Penn Asian Jubliee Center played host to a Cambodian New Year celebration and a good time was had by all! Much thanks to the Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia for reaching out to the community to invite them to attend our celebration!

The day included welcome remarks from PASSi CEO Im Ja Choi, brief remarks from PASSi Community Relations Officer Brad Baldia, a presentation on the Cambodian New Year by Susan Ear, Cambodian Daycare Program Aide at PASSi and closing remarks from Young Eun Park, PAJC Adult Daycare Director.

There were performances by the PAJC seniors, Linda Son from Cambodian American Girls Empowering (CAGE), and a video showing a performance by the Royal Apsara Dance Company on the grounds of Angkor Wat.

And of course, plenty of authentic Cambodian food for all to enjoy!

PASSi values and maintains the culture, traditions and holidays of the many diverse Asian ethnic groups it represents.
