PAVI was established in 2006 to provide job training for bilingual immigrants interested in the healthcare field.  PAVI offers training for Certified Nurse Assistants, Home Health Aids and Vocational ESL for health care workers.  Our graduates serve Asian American seniors at home and through local health institutions.

In 2010, PAVI trained 43  Certified Nurse Assistants and 86 Home Health Aids.  During 2010 PASSi employed 236 full & part-time Home Health Aids, the majority of whom speak one or more Asian languages.

PASSi received a 3 year grant from the US Department of Health & Human Services to fund the vocational training program and provide tuition assistance for Asian students.
